4.2 Quotations and Estimates
All quotations and estimates provided are valid for the period stated (or 30 days if no period is specified) and are subject to:
- Site survey and assessment (where applicable)
- Access to the work area being available
- No unforeseen circumstances or additional work being required
- Acceptance of the quotation within the validity period
Quotations are estimates only and final costs may vary if additional work is required or if site conditions differ from those assessed.
4.3 Acceptance of Work
A contract for services is formed when:
- You accept our written quotation or estimate
- You request us to proceed with work (verbally or in writing)
- We commence work with your knowledge and consent
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Payment is due within 7 days of completion of work or invoice date, whichever is later
- For larger projects, we may require a deposit before commencing work
- We accept payment by bank transfer, cheque, or cash (by prior arrangement)
5.2 Late Payment
If payment is not received by the due date:
- We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at a rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998
- We may suspend further work until payment is received
- We reserve the right to recover all reasonable costs incurred in recovering overdue amounts
5.3 Pricing
All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice, but we will honour any quotation accepted within its validity period.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
6.1 Your Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel a contract for services within 14 days of entering into it, unless:
- You have expressly requested that we begin work before the end of the cancellation period
- The service has been fully performed
If you cancel within the cancellation period, you must pay for any services already provided up to the point of cancellation.
6.2 Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse to provide services if:
- You fail to make payment when due
- Access to the work area is not available or is unsafe
- You breach any material term of these Terms or the service agreement
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent us from performing the work
6.3 Refunds
Refunds will be provided in accordance with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If work is not completed to the agreed standard, we will rectify any defects at no additional cost. If rectification is not possible, a partial or full refund may be provided at our discretion.
7. Warranties and Guarantees
7.1 Workmanship Guarantee
We guarantee that all work will be carried out:
- With reasonable care and skill, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015
- In compliance with current UK electrical regulations (BS 7671)
- Using materials of satisfactory quality
We provide a 12-month guarantee on workmanship from the date of completion. This guarantee covers defects in workmanship but does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or accidental damage
- Damage caused by third parties
- Wear and tear
- Pre-existing faults or conditions
7.2 Materials
Materials supplied by us are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We will pass on the benefit of any manufacturer's warranty to you where applicable.
8. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law
Subject to the above, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of data, arising out of or in connection with our services.
9. Insurance
We maintain appropriate public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance. Details of our insurance coverage are available upon request.
10. Intellectual Property

14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
